Putting our members first – A new member assistance program designed for WestField members.
We are pleased to announce the WestField Cares Membership Assistance and Scholarship Program, created to better reflect the current economic climate and the resulting factors experienced by our membership. This program is for you! There are several components and we hope we can help you
as you find a job and/or adjust to constraints on your budget. Please complete the request form on our website so we can help you.
A key benefit of your MPI membership is networking. To provide the ability to attend MPI WestField monthly programs offering both educational components and a great opportunity to connect with others, we are offering several complimentary meeting registrations over the course of the year, including 4 registrations for our half-day educational event, MEETNow! (Requires 2 hours of MPIWC committee volunteerism)
To ensure a successful transition for our new members, current WestField Board of Directors and dedicated members-at-large will act as Ambassadors for our new members. New members will be assigned an Ambassador who will introduce them to chapter leaders and members attending monthly programs. Assigned ambassadors will also be available to personally answer questions pertaining to MPI WestField or MPIHQ for a period of at least two (2) months.
The WestField Membership Team has incorporated an Affiliate Liaison committee member this year to address the needs of our Affiliate Members.
To increase the potential involvement of all chapter members, the awards and recognitions program has also undergone some changes in this new fiscal year. Each Executive Committee Member will be asked to submit the name of a committee member on their team who should be recognized for the month. Thus, members who are only able to volunteer two or three times per year can still be recognized for their contribution to the success of the chapter. Everyone recognized for the year will be automatically included in the year-end awards and recognitions nominating ballot with an explanation of their contributions for the year.
