How long have you been in the meetings / hospitality industry? 

I’ve been in the industry for 17 years. 

How has MPI helped in the support and growth of your career? 

MPI has helped me to work my network and speak to people who have like interests and experiences with hotels. 

Have you done business with any MPI members, locally or nationally? 

At Travel and Transport, we work with many MPI members who are both clients and suppliers.

What three tips can you share with others in our industry? 

Never burn bridges, hospitality is a very small industry.

Find a mentor, they’re such a fantastic resource.

Hand-write thank you notes, it’s a forgotten art.  

What is your dream vacation spot? 

Spending a few months down in the South Pacific exploring all the islands and of course Australia and New Zealand.  

What do you do in your spare time?

I like working on projects around my house, I have an older home so I’m constantly doing updates.  I also have a very close knit family and I spend a lot of time with them. 

Any hidden talents?

I’m pretty handy around the house and will try to fix anything before I call for professional help. 

Fun facts about yourself?  

I have two little fur babies that go everywhere with me.  I also used to be certified in floral design and still enjoy arranging flower arrangements.
