MPI Ottawa is Proud to be Supporting the MPI Foundation!

MPI Ottawa Chapter is proud to announce that it has partnered with the MPI Foundation to support it’s initiatives for the upcoming year. By doing so $2.00 is being collected at the time of each registration and these funds will be donated to the foundation.

The MPI Foundation fuels the growth and advancement of the MPI global community by providing professional development and career growth through grants and scholarships. The MPI Foundation also propels the meeting and event industry forward by funding both innovative and pan-industry research.

Last year the MPI Foundation distributed over $852,000 USD in grants, scholarships and in funding endowment.  It gave grants to 52 Chapters (including MPI Ottawa and 5 other Canadian Chapters) to fund educational initiatives and awarded almost 270 individual scholarships for members’ professional development, educational conference attendance, and MPI memberships. Scholarships are awarded throughout the year and what is available is updated regularly at https://www.mpiweb.org/foundation/scholarships .    It is important for members to note that some scholarships are available only for Canadians, so it is well worth applying for educational opportunities that will help develop their professionalism and propel their careers.

The World Education Congress is being held in Toronto next year in June so why not apply for a scholarship to attend this fantastic event right in our Home and Native Land through the MPI Foundation!
