MPI-CAC Preps for Annual Awards Recognition Celebration

Attendees for the MPI-CAC’s Annual Awards Recognition Celebration should be ready to sparkle and shine as they gather Thursday, June 6, for the chapter’s annual awards party.

The event, scheduled for 5:30-10 p.m., will be held at Venue West, 221 N. Paulina St., in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.

“Our theme this year is “shine on,” said co-chairwoman Allie Drazin, a private parties and special events manager at HUB 51. “We are celebrating and recognizing those members of the MPI community who truly shine on.”

The evening begins with a pre-event reception, followed by the awards program. The program will highlight the leaders, committees and volunteers of MPI-CAC and what they’ve accomplished over the past year to keep the chapter moving forward. Following the awards, a networking reception and celebration will close out the night.

As for any hints of what to expect, the Annual Awards Recognition Celebration Committee is keeping it a secret.

“Come see the most innovative trends from lounge décor, theater seating, creative food and state of the art technology,” said co-chairwoman Cyndi Roppolo Rosenberg, who is in charge of new business development for Kehoe Designs. “Plus there will be a few surprises that you’ll have to attend to see for yourself.”

Registration is $79 for MPI-CAC members before May 23. Cocktail attire is encouraged for this event.
