Assisting Out of the Darkness:

Out of the Darkness, a ministry of the Atlanta Dream Center, provides holistic, individualized, and comprehensive care to victims of prostitution and sex trafficking, Out of Darkness walks with the individual through the process of rescue and restoration. Out of Darkness engages in street and strip club outreach, jail mentoring, a 24/7 rescue hotline, and safe housing. When trying to escape dangerous and dehumanizing circumstances, victims need a trusted support system. Out of Darkness is poised to respond to crisis situations, efficiently coordinate the care needed for stabilization, and make connections to long-term care on behalf of victims.

 - New Undergarments and Socks Drive – all sizes, comfortable styles needed
 - Gift Cards – Grocery, Gas, Walmart and Restaurant cards needed

Parking:

The official Georgia Aquarium parking deck operates 1,600 safe, secure, and well-lit spaces attached to the Georgia Aquarium. Covered and rooftop parking is available. Click on this link www.georgiaaquarium.org/eventprepay  and purchase your parking ahead of time, it will save you $3 and bring the cost down from $12 to $9. You should even be able to do this from your phones, as a print-out isn’t necessary.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your registration a full refund will be granted if cancellation is received in writing before 5:00 PM on Friday, November 30. After that time there will be no refunds. Please send cancellation notice toinfo@mpigeorgia.org. Additionally, registration fees may not be applied or transferred to future events.

 

Substitutions:

If you have registered but are unable to attend the meeting, you may substitute another employee from your company at no additional charge. Please send written notification of this change before 5:00 PM on Friday, November 30 to info@migeorgia.org. After that time, substitutions will need to be made onsite.
