Paige is beginning her fifth term on the MPI BOD this year having also served on the BOD for ISES, TxACOM, and CCEP in the past.  As a nine year veteran in the industry, she is very involved in a number of other industry organizations and recommends getting involved in the industry to get the most out of a membership.  When she is not volunteering, she gets paid to blow things up as the sales and marketing director of Pyrotex, the oldest Texas-based professional pyrotechnic company.  Married to her high school sweetheart, she is a mom of 2 beautiful children and resides with her family WAY UP NORTH in McKinney.

Tuula is a strategic marketing professional and customer advocate with over 15 years of experience in driving strategic initiatives and resolving complex business problems in a matrix environment in Fortune 100 companies. She is currently a Marketing Advisor at FedEx Services, where she drives the organization’s strategic marketing initiatives for Hospitality and Convention Operations.

As a passionate advocate for continuous learning Tuula received the December 2016 MPI DFW Sprit Award for her work as a Co-Chair of MPI D/FW Chapter Mentor Program. During the 2017-2018 term Tuula was a VP of Communications.

Tuula has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and an MBA in Marketing Management. She also holds CASE, HMCC and PMP certifications.

 Erin Lucia the Director of Catering with the Embassy Suites Park Central.  Erin has been a member since 2001 and been involved with the MPI D/FW Chapter in various ways including serving as Vice President, Membership 2014-2015; Director of Membership, 2013-2014; committee member on various monthly meetings, Camp Wisdom Committee, Jan Pollard Scholarship Raffle Committee, Table Host Committee, Co-chair of November 2012 monthly meeting and has received two MPI D/FW Spirit Awards.  Erin resides in Richardson with her partner, Dan and son Leo.

Kimberly Marriott has been in the event and entertainment industry for twenty-two years. Currently, she is the Director of Booking and Event Services at Allen Event Center in Allen, TX where she manages the event booking and execution process for the 7000+ seat arena. This includes booking and managing concerts and family shows, along with third-party rental events such as tradeshows, amateur sports competitions, corporate events, PBR bull riding, religious functions, community events and more. She is a graduate of the University of Texas (Hook ‘em Horns!!) with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She is in the process of obtaining her Master of Arts in Live Entertainment Management from the University of Miami (go ‘Canes), graduating in May 2019. In addition to her MPI membership, she is a member of the International Entertainment Buyers Association, the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, and Women in Music. In her limited spare time, Kim enjoys reading, writing, TV, and movies. She believes that vacations should be spent travelling and has visited 22 countries so far (although most of those were islands in the Caribbean.) Kim grew up in Austin but now lives in Dallas with her 2 beloved dogs, Pugsly and Max.

Cassie is a proud alumnus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and began her hospitality career in 2010 as a member of the UNL Conference Services team assisting with all aspects of event planning and execution. In 2013, Cassie moved to DFW and began working as an account executive for Madeleine Crouch and Co., Inc. an association management firm, specializing in 501 (c)(3) and 501 (c)(6) organizations. In 2016, she earned her Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation. With her knowledge of event and meeting planning and execution along with strategic group insight, Cassie joined the Fort Worth CVB in the Fall of 2017 as the Sports Marketing Coordinator. She currently works with National Governing Bodies and Event Rights Holders to provide support on a variety of levels and maintains relationships with hotels and other community partners to ensure event and meeting needs are met within the city of Fort Worth.

Cassie has been involved in the chapter in various roles including being a member of the Leadership and Events and Education Committees, assisting with CMP Study Groups, chairing the 2017 Volunteer event, co-chairing the 2017 Awards Gala and 40th Anniversary Celebration and serving as the Director of Education and Events. Cassie has a Bachelor of Music degree in Saxophone Performance and is a diehard Husker fan!

Annie is a native Texan, born and bred right here in Dallas.  She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in International Business and minor in Spanish.  She’s always been in sales and got into the audio-visual business with AVW-Telav (currently Freeman AV) back in ’00.  She is currently a sales manager with PSAV at their Dallas Corporate offices in Coppell.  Annie started out attending, and eventually serving with, MPI back in 2000 when she first got started in the AV industry.  She has helped out chairing a few different events and committees and is excited to be serving her first year on the Board of Directors for MPI DFW.

Annie’s hobbies include riding her bike around White Rock Lake, searching for patio’s on a beautiful sunny day, and spending time with her two rescue kitties, Pete & Tilley.

Shanika began her adventure into the Meetings and Events Industry while enrolled in the Travel Exposition and Meeting Management Program (TEMM) at Richland Community College. She  became a MPI student member in 2011 and quickly became involved in the MPI D/FW Chapter through various committees including:Speaker Liaison 2012-2013; Breakfast w Club Chair/Co-Chair 2013-2014; Walk A While Committee Co-Chair 2013-2014; Speaker Liaison 2012-2013 and the Policy Review Committee 2014-2015. Shanika earned the recognition of her peers and was awarded the 2013 Spirit Award; 2013 Volunteer of the Year Award and 2013 Rising Star Award.

She credits much of her success to an amazing mentor and numerous others who served as coaches along the way.

Shanika has a passion for empowering others to learn, grow and maximizing their gifts and talents to be the best representation of themselves they can be.

She believes leadership begins with servitude, putting others before yourself.  In her spare time, Shanika likes to spend time with family and traveling around the world.

Stephanie’s passion for events, people and education led her to pursue a career in the hotel and meeting industry. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Hospitality Management and began her career at the Gaylord Texan as a Conference Coordinator. Stephanie has since advanced through multiple roles at properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth area including Executive Meetings Manager at the Gaylord Texan, Conference Services Manager at Deloitte University and Social Catering Manager at the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum. Having extensive hotel operations experience and insight, Stephanie joined Groups360 as a Director within the Meetings Advisory Division in the fall of 2015. In her current role with Groups360, she provides meeting consultation services to streamline hotel sourcing through GroupSync, a proprietary technology leveraging hotel rate and occupancy data.

Stephanie joined MPI for the chance to connect with those who share her love of events and she is thrilled to be on the board of such an amazing organization. When Stephanie isn’t traveling for work with her incredible clients – she is traveling for fun. Her boyfriend is a pilot and they enjoy flying together on the weekends. She has never met a dog she didn’t like, especially her dog, Chief. One of her favorite roles is playing hostess for her friends and family and showing her love through baking.

Stacie joined MPI in July 2016 and chaired her first MPI Experience for Education & Events, that October.  In addition, she frequently assists the Membership Team with registration/check-ins.  Stacie is currently the Corporate Sales Manager at Visit Frisco.  She has been in the Hospitality industry for over 25 years, and her roles include, but are not limited to Director of Sales and Director of Catering.  Stacie enjoys working closely with her clients, as she strives to build, maintain and foster relationships with each and every one of them.

Stacie is proud to be a native Texan, and grew up in the Mid-Cities area of the DFW Metroplex. She now calls Savannah, Texas her home, where she has resided for the past 11 years.  When she is not working, Stacie loves spending time with her husband Ricardo, her daughter Aliyah and her two fur babies. They love to travel, swim, attend sporting events or simply stay home for a competitive evening of family game night

Jenny is a proud Texan, born and bred right here in Dallas.   She graduated from Texas Christian University (GO FROGS!) with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Spanish.  For the past 12 years, Jenny has been working at The Fossil Group leading their Incentives and Recognition division.   She joined MPI D/FW three years ago and has been volunteering on the Marketing/Communications committee managing social media.  From the time she joined MPI, Jenny knew she needed to be an active member in order to gain the most from her membership.  This will be her first year serving on the Board of Directors and she can’t be more excited about it!

Jenny lives in Dallas along with her husband and two energetic little boys.  She’s an avid member of Title Boxing Club and drives a jeep.  If she goes missing, chances are you will find her laying on a warm beach surrounded by crystal clear water.

Jessica brings a wide range of experience in the hospitality and event industry to the Education and Events committee. She graduated from Texas A&M with a tourism degree and started her career at the front desk at a resort in California. She worked her way up into various roles in hotel sales, event management, catering sales and leadership. Along with Jessica’s supplier experience, she gained planner experience in San Diego, planning events for the military community and their families. In 2016, she received her CMP designation. Jessica’s current position is a Corporate Group Sales Manager with Marriott International.

Jessica has been a member with MPI since 2014 and served on several Education and Events committees, including previous roles serving on the Gala committee, program chair and co-chair for several monthly programs. She is excited to join the board and continue to give back to the chapter.

Outside of work and MPI, Jessica loves to spend time with her husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs. She has a 3 year old son, Josh, and 10 month old girl, Emma. Jessica enjoys the outdoors, traveling, essential oils, camping, paddleboarding, and trying out new local food spots!

Michelle Moos, DCMP, is an industry veteran with 10+ years of event design, destination management and operations experience. After graduating from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2005, Michelle quickly discovered her love for the special event and hospitality industry, diving right into a job at the Meadows Foundation. She is currently at AlliedPRA where she has been employed since 2008. She climbed her way up the ladder, starting as an Operations Manager, promoted to Director of Operations and now serves as their General Manager. Michelle is well-known by her employees, clients, and vendors as someone who is spirited, highly ethical, creative, and passionate.

Michelle has been an invaluable contributor to the MPI Chapter during the course of her career as well. She is a long-time regular volunteer at Chapter events and has served on several monthly meeting planning committees. She has also served as a guest speaker on several Chapter panels. In addition to MPI, she is active in the DFW Tour Guide Association.

As if Michelle’s industry involvement doesn’t keep her busy enough, she is also an avid competitive indoor/sand volleyball player and loves spending time with her family and friends. She also loves cooking for therapy on a regular basis!

Corina Balsells has been in the meetings industry for almost 20 years. She credits her success to working with the best team ever, as well as incredible mentors who have paved the way for her.

For Corina, serving others is what is all about. She prides herself in taking others under her wing and helping them achieve their career goals.

Corina has been a member of MPI D/FW for three years. From the time she joined, Corina knew she needed to be an active member in order to gain the most from her membership…and encourages others to do the same. She has served as speaker liaison for the Education & Events Committee, and as co-chair of the Leadership Breakfast Club Committee and the Emerging Leaders Committee. She has also served as a mentor. Corina was nominated as a Rising Star in 2017.

In her free time, Corina enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, dancing, and traveling.

Caitlin went to Arizona State where she received a BIS with concentrations in business and tourism development. She has worked in hospitality for the last 10 years. She originally became a student member of MPI in 2009 for the Arizona Sunbelt Chapter. Currently, Caitlin works for Madeleine Crouch and Company an association management company, with a focus in non-profits, as an Account Executive. She has works with several clients and continues to provide them with professional service. It was through her involvement with the different associations that she joined MPI D/FW in 2018 and has been supporting them as their Chapter Administrator.
